The City of Surrey, in partnership with Simon Fraser University (SFU) and Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU), is working towards bringing its Advanced Manufacturing and Innovation Economy (AMIE) sector to the next level: Industry 4.0. With funding provided under the Labour Market Partnerships (LMP) Program administered by the Ministry of Social Development and Poverty Reduction, this study has developed a three-phased strategy action plan to address the skills gaps and labour market shortages of AMIE companies in the City of Surrey.
